Lauren Roman's passion for Pregnancy Center ministry is rooted in a powerful personal testimony. Although a successful actress at just 19 with a major role on the ABC daytime drama “All My Children,” behind the scenes, Lauren was suffering in silence after an abortion at age 18. After struggling for years with guilt, depression and an eating disorder, she finally found forgiveness and freedom through a post-abortion Bible study at a Pregnancy Resource Center in Los Angeles. Lauren became a speaker with their sexual integrity program, the first step in her new life’s mission to share the Truth of Galatians 5:1 freedom.
Utilizing the comedic and dramatic skills she has honed throughout her acting career, Lauren now travels nationwide speaking at pro-life events, coming alongside PRC ministries to garner support for their life-saving work. Not only is she an energetic and compelling speaker, but as an accomplished singer and worship leader, she often incorporates music into her presentations to reach listeners' hearts and minds in a unique way. Lauren's debut single "Child of My Heart," the deeply moving song of a mother singing to her unborn child, is now available on iTunes.
